Trying to pin down the going rate for a VA in Texas isn't always straightforward, since rates stretch from a few dollars an hour to well over $40, depending on the scope of work.
Offshore VAs typically run in the $5-$15/hr range, U.S.-based assistants usually land between $15 and $35 an hour, and specialized or senior VAs can run $25 to $45 an hour or more. The rate mostly comes down to where the VA is based and what you're asking them to do.
Something easy to overlook is whether you're going through a marketplace or working with an agency. A freelancer often looks cheaper up front, but you take on the screening, training, and backup coverage yourself.
